About me

This is me, NORA . The sun was barely rising when we set off for Sibuat Island, a hidden paradise off the coast of Rompin, Pahang. With my kids bubbling with excitement and backpacks filled with adventure essentials, we were ready for a day of exploration. The gentle waves carried us toward the island, where golden sands and crystal-clear waters awaited. Our plan? A thrilling island-hopping journey, discovering secret beaches, snorkeling in vibrant reefs, and trekking through lush greenery. As the boat rocked beneath us, laughter filled the air—it was the beginning of a memory we would cherish forever.

Sibuat Island, located in Rompin, Pahang, is often referred to as the "Krabi of Malted approximately 30 minutes by boat from Mersing, Johor.

The island is part of a cluster that includes Pulau Sembilang, Pulau Raja, and Pulau Tulai, offering plenty of opportunities to explore nearby islands.

Sibuat Island also popular with Camping & Stargazing: If you love the outdoors, camping on the island lets you experience breathtaking night skies, especially during a full moon.

Snorkeling & Fishing: The waters around the island are crystal clear, making it a great spot for snorkeling. Fishing and squid jigging are also popular activities.

Sibuat Island offers a hiking trail leading to its peak, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the South China Sea and neighboring Pulau Tioman. The trail meanders through dense evergreen forests, offering a moderate challenge suitable for hikers with a reasonable fitness level=.
